I practice a hopeful and empowering approach where you, the client, take the lead in the counselling journey. Your agenda guides our sessions, allowing you to address the issues that matter most to you. We work together to explore your strengths, challenges and goals. I support you in finding your own solutions.
About me and my practice
My name is Hanna. I work with what you bring to the counselling session, I wont ask you to talk about anything that you dont wish to discuss. I have a positive view of human nature. I believe that we are all doing the best we can, in the circumstances we face. I believe we all have within us what we need to live our best lives, but sometimes we get stuck and need support to find our way forward. This is where Counselling can help.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental space to explore and understand your feelings and experiences. My hope is that you will find me warm, empathic and authentic. Our sessions will be led by your needs, and I will walk alongside you with warmth and understanding, helping you gain clarity and self-acceptance.
I will ask questions to clarify my understanding of your experience and to help you get in touch with your feelings, even the most uncomfortable ones. Through this, I will help you find your own inner resources to enable you to deal more effectively with whatever is troubling you.
While my specialisation is counselling women, I warmly welcome people of all gender identities who feel I may be the right counsellor for them.
Let me support your process of self-discovery that fosters self-compassion, empowers you to make conscious choices and enact meaningful changes in your life.
Experience
I am working with clients since 2017 and had the privilege of working with people, mainly women, from all walks of life. From 2018 to 2021 I worked with an organisation that specialises in counselling domestic abuse survivors.
I regularly engage in professional development activities to stay informed, enhance my skills and ensure that I provide the most effective and compassionate work.
